Buttons aren't boring

I remember my mum keeping her buttons in 1970's sma tins when I was little (actually she still does), and now I seem to be following in her footsteps, only I seem to be a little more OCD and have mine colour coordinated in innocent drinks bottles and jam jars!!!!

Although these piccies show I am definately not alone.

But I do use my buttons in my work and make and sell allsorts with them such as this Button Heart Canvas available in my shop on Folksy.

My other button goodies include:
Button Notecards

Flower Wall Art

Button Magnets

So why not pop over to Folksy and check out my shop 100percentdelicate - just click here

Ella's Room

So a week ago my eldest daughter turned 9 and as promised we did her room up for her. She wanted something more grown up - and not pink! And somewhere she could retreat to with her friends....so this is what we came up with.......

She loves the daybed area, and uses it as a sofa to watch telly and read, and is handy for when she has friends to stay over.
And she has hardly been off her desk either....so another success story I think.

So now hopefully I can have a break for a while before having to pick up another paint brush or get the sewing machine out!

Graces Room

So this summer I promised both daughters new bedrooms for their birthdays, seeing as neither had had much done since moving into the house a couple of years ago, except for a slap of paint.

So Grace had her's done first, and we went down the beachhut theme, seeing as I have spent every summer of my life at the beachhut my parents own in dorset....

I uploaded the pics to living etc forums so take a look if you want to see more..

She loves her new room so much we hardly see her now!

Welcome

Welcome to my blog - my showcase of all things delicate and the stuff I love. Its a way to kill the boredom and share my finds with others. I hope you enjoy x
